Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS)

An entrapment neuropathy caused by compression of the median nerve as it travels through the wrist’s carpal tunnel. It is the most common nerve entrapment neuropathy with early symptoms including pain, numbness, and paresthesia (numbness/tingling/pins and needles).

Potential treatments include:  manual therapy, home-based exercises, functional restorative exercise, Class IV laser, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and vibration therapy with passive motion.
