Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating)
Abnormally excessive sweating that’s not necessarily related to heat or exercise. A person may sweat so much that it soaks through their clothes or drips off their hands.
Potential treatments include: Application of iontophoresis; patient sits with hands, feet or both in a shallow tray of water for 20-30 minutes, while a low frequency electrical current travels through the water. Treatment is repeated a few times a week, but after several times, a person may stop sweating. Class IV laser also used to reduce inflammation and increase functional energy, promoting advanced healing of skin, muscle and mucous membrane target tissues.
